Lucy's small-scale sculptures are primarily made of recycled materials, tin cans, found objects, metal and wire, soldered and riveted together. "I want to combine the immediacy of drawing with the time consuming processes of making to create scenarios and instances.The characters find their place among my collected ‘found objects’ and become part of narratives inspired by people, animals, environments, imaginings and human emotions."
